Welcome

This year celebrates the 5th Annual Highlands Ranch Music Arts Festival on May 15 and 16, 2010 at Civic Green Park, 9370 Ridgeline Blvd., Highlands Ranch, CO, located near Town Center in Highlands Ranch. This year’s festival will begin on Saturday, May 15th, from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm, and on Sunday, May 16th, from 12:00 noon to 8:00 pm. The festival is a free, family-oriented cultural event celebrating the musical and artistic diversity found within Highlands Ranch and the surrounding communities, featuring amateur and semi-professional musical organizations, as well as local artists and artisans.

The weekend will feature a wide variety of music, including jazz, concert, new age, wind, folk, and symphonic performances. The Festival Marketplace offers an extensive selection of items by artists and artisans, and diverse choices for food and drinks. Bring a blanket or a chair and enjoy a day at the park with the family, celebrating the cultural diversity in music and arts within your community. Dancing is optional!

The promoters of this signature event, the Highlands Ranch Concert Band, and its jazz ensemble, Swing Shift, will be celebrating its 9th anniversary as a nonprofit musical organization this year, and will also be performing at the festival. The Highlands Ranch Concert Band provides an opportunity for professional and amateur musicians to provide quality, educational public concerts, showcasing a variety of musical literature that promotes an educational experience for both the musicians and the public and enhancing the quality of life for the community.
